About Kyn 43

Kyn 43 is a South Side Chicago arts collective dedicated to creating experiences that strengthen community through storytelling, public art, music, education, and cultural preservation.

We activate the culture, preserve the legacy, and shape the future of South Side and Black Chicago.

Bronzeville was once considered the Harlem of the Midwest. Our goal is to re-establish Black Chicago as the premier destination for arts & culture.

We are - first and foremost - lovers of Chicago’s South Side. We are artists, consultants, marketers, activists, and educators. Some of us are Chicago natives; some of us are transplants who have come to call this city home. We are stewards of culture, and of community.
